Bright Blue Bubbles Devore Capelet

These cape-lets are an original design by Reyen Designs. The hemline is shaped like a pod of Mermaids dancing- their tails flipping playfully in their dance.
 
The Devore fabric is all bubbly with circles and ovals.  Devore fabric is created by weaving silk fibers with rayon fibers. The rayon fibers are then burned away using an sodium bisulfate (a mild acid) and heat leaving a pattern in the silk fabric. Burn-out velvet is made pretty much the same way.
 
ThHis one measures 42" at the longest point.  The hood has a generous 34" face opening and is 24" in length  witth a sassy swirl at the tip of the hood.
 
They are hand dyed with eco-frindly, non toxic pigments , fixatives, and processes.
 
They are easy care requiring only hand washing in cold water with mild soap (we recommend Palmolive) or shampoo ( if it's gentle enough for your hair, it's safe to use on silk). Hang to dry.. May be ironed on medium hot setting
