Crow 4-Panel Devore Mini Skirt

This sassy little mini is made from 4 panels, each with a different pattern and each with a different length to their points. Fabrics include Devore, burn-ou velvet, and smooth chiffon. The underlayer is China silk habotai. All are dyed in Crow colors.

 
Devore fabric is created by weaving silk fibers with rayon fibers. The rayon fibers are then burned away using an sodium bisulfate (a mild acid) and heat leaving a pattern in the silk fabric. Burn-out velvet is made pretty much the same way.

 
Waist fits up to 48"  Length is 20" at the longest point.  Silk cord around the waist allows you to adjust to fit. 

 
Hand dyed with non-toxic, eco-friendly pigments, fixatives, and techniques.

 
Hand wash using gentle soap or shampoo.  Hang to dry. May be ironed.
