Devore fabric is created by weaving silk fibers with rayon fibers. The rayon fibers are then burned away using an sodium bisulfate (a mild acid) and heat leaving a pattern in the silk fabric. Burn-out velvet is made pretty much the same way.
The Fibonacci tail is cut into a spiral givig them a long swirl accent.
This scarf is rusty brown shot through with green, and has a twig satin pattern throughout.
It measure 68" long.
Hand dyed with non-toxic dyes and natural fixatives.
Hand wash with cold water and mild soap, hang dry. May be ironed.
