Gold Tiger Devore Silk Scarf

Devoré, also called burnout, is process used on mixed material fabrics, usually silk and rayon. Chemically reactive gels are used to dissolve the rayon fibers leaving a solid pattern against a translucent background.
The tiger stripe pattern in this scarf looks exotic with this gold color.  The background of this fabric has dyed darker than the satin pattern so the pattern and color really pop.
Scarf measures 8x54"
Hand dyed with non-toxic, eco-friendly pigments, fixatives, and techniques.
Hand wash using gentle soap or shampoo.  Hang to dry. May be ironed.
