Nouveau Harlequin Devore Silk Scarf

Devoré, also called burnout, is process used on mixed material fabrics, usually silk and rayon. Chemically reactive gels are used to dissolve the rayon fibers leaving a solid pattern against a translucent background.
The Art Nouveau pattern in this scarf is splashed with an array of deep rich colors.
Scarf measures 8 x 54"
Hand dyed with non-toxic, eco-friendly pigments, fixatives, and techniques.
Hand wash using gentle soap or shampoo.  Hang to dry. May be ironed.
