Seaweed Devore Scarf

Green and brown seaweed patterns float across this scarf.
Devoré, also called burnout, is process used on mixed material fabrics, usually silk and rayon. Chemically reactive gels are used to dissolve the rayon fibers leaving a solid pattern against a translucent background.
Scarf measures  14x60"
Hand dyed with non-toxic, eco-friendly pigments, fixatives, and techniques.
Hand wash using gentle soap or shampoo.  Hang to dry. May be ironed.
