Devore fabric is created by weaving silk fibers with rayon fibers. The rayon fibers are then burned away using an sodium bisulfate (a mild acid) and heat leaving a pattern in the silk fabric. Burn-out velvet is made pretty much the same way.
This scarf is dark gray and rich terra cotta swirling together in the devore pattern.
It measures 8"x54"and will be a suble accent piece to any outfit. It also works great as a hair band, and a sash for your waist.
Hand dyed with non-toxic, eco-friendly dyes, and natural fixatives.
Easy care with hand wash with cold water and mild soap, hang dry. May be ironed.
